La production académique d’un savoir sur le religieux :une étude des thèses en cours en France

Abstract
À l’occasion du quarantième anniversaire de l’Association française d’histoire religieuse contemporaine (AFHRC) en 2014, un bilan des recherches menées sur les religions dans le champ académique en France a été réalisé. Dans ce cadre, nous avons proposé une analyse sur le corpus des thèses alors en cours portant sur les religions, complétée par une enquête qualitative menée auprès de doctorant.e.s et de directeurs de thèse en histoire. De l’ensemble des données collectées, quelques tendances peuvent être tirées à titre exploratoire qui dressent le portrait de la fabrique de la recherche en France : principales évolutions concernant le sujet des thèses, lieux de production du savoir académique, posture des jeunes chercheurs dans leur champ, mais également place de l’histoire parmi les sciences sociales portant sur le religieux.
