Abstract
La pagina web del Departamento de Inmigracion de Canada se colapsa durante unas horas mientras que el peso mexicano cae un 13%, la caida mas fuerte desde la crisis de 1994. Estos fueron dos acontecimientos aparentemente inconexos durante la noche del 8 al 9 de noviembre de 2016, pero con una causa comun: la eleccion de Donald Trump como 45o presidente de los Estados Unidos. Trump no hizo esperar a nadie y sus primeros dias de gobierno no estuvieron en ningun momento exentos de polemica. Tras su investidura como presidente el 20 de enero de 2017, firmo multiples ordenes ejecutivas destinadas a implementar algunas de sus medidas “estrella” o a lanzar mensajes simbolicos.
