Abstract
Partant de l’idée que le processus même d’implantation de nouvelles technologies dans une entreprise influence le travail et son organisation, l’auteur étudie les pratiques nouvelles de gestion du changement technologique, sur la base d’un postulat bien précis : ces pratiques sont essentiellement des « modalités stratégiques d’accompagnement », qui peuvent être mises en oeuvre en complément de la stratégie proprement dite de changement technologique. Quatre expériences québécoises d’implantation de systèmes informatiques ont été étudiées en profondeur. Il appert que les responsables de la mise en place des changements technologiques ont effectivement géré ceux-ci de manière « nouvelle », notamment en investissant dans la formation et l’implication du personnel, sans aller jusqu’à les gérer de façon globale (par la mise en œuvre de toutes les modalités stratégiques d’accompagnement possibles).
