Abstract
Le présent article porte sur la question de l’évaluation du fonctionnement des familles. Il vise à proposer un lexique des principales composantes du fonctionnement des familles et à présenter un modèle explicatif multidimensionnel et intégratif du fonctionnement familial afin de soutenir la pratique d’évaluation des thérapeutes familiaux et des chercheurs. Les buts visés par cet exercice sont, d’une part, de renforcer l’évaluation systématique de la famille par les thérapeutes familiaux afin de garantir la plus forte adéquation possible entre les caractéristiques du fonctionnement des familles et les interventions proposées et, d’autre part, de soutenir les thérapeutes qui veulent contribuer au développement des connaissances dans le domaine de la thérapie familiale ( Practice-Based-Evidence ). Nous espérons également que ce modèle puisse soutenir les chercheurs intéressés par le développement des pratiques probantes en thérapie familiale ( Evidence-Based-Practice ).
