Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación muestra el resultado de la recopilación de encuestas realizadas a distintos investigadores en el área de turismo en México, Argentina, Brasil y Canadá. El principal objetivo, es la aproximación de una metodología para construir el turismo como objeto de estudio a través de la mirada de los investigadores en turismo, en función del proceso de construcción de los objetos de estudio en el turismo, así como sus implicaciones metodológicas en la investigación del fenómeno. El resultado de esta investigación se presenta de acuerdo con los siguientes a apartados: a) La construcción de objetos de estudio y el método en la investigación turística, b) Revelaciones sobre la transdisciplinariedad del turismo como objeto de estudio, y c) Reflexiones iniciales hacia una propuesta coimplicada en la constitución del turismo como objeto de estudio.
