Abstract
A neologia terminológica (neonímia) exige uma observação constante da língua por parte de terminólogos, lexicólogos e lexicógrafos; hoje, essa análise incide sobre diferentes tipos de corpora escritos e orais de línguas de especialidade ou de corpora lexicográficos. A neologia terminológica e a variação participam simultaneamente na inovação dos sistemas terminológicos e na terminologia diacrónica. Existe um grande número de neónimos de discurso relativos a conceitos não estabilizados ou não normalizados. Esta dinâmica conceptual observa-se nos corpora textuais, em determinados tipos de textos, com um carácter de informação, divulgação e prevenção de algumas doenças ou epidemias; alguns fenómenos de instabilidade terminológica são um reflexo da instabilidade conceptual e/ ou científica em determinados domínios da Medicina, como a epidemia Ébola. Neologismos terminológicos são criados para denominar novos conceitos e/ou novas particularidades cognitivas e mudanças conceptuais relativos, eventualmente, à evolução de um conceito.
