Abstract
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. This little bit of wisdom may or may not have been coined by the ancient Roman philosopher Seneca, but it continues to capture the bittersweet nature of transitions, of moving from one state to another, from the familiar to the unknown. It is never easy to say goodbye after 20 years, yet that is what we are doing with this issue of Paediatrics & Child Health. Since 1996, Pulsus Group Inc has owned and published the Canadian Paediatric Society's official journal and, during that time, Paediatrics & Child Health has become the most widely read sub-specialty journal in Canada. In May, the Canadian Paediatric Society purchased Paediatrics & Child Health from Pulsus Group, marking a milestone in the nearly 100-year history of the CPS. The next time you see Paediatrics & Child Health, it may look different, but you can be assured that it will include the same high-quality education and advocacy that you have come to expect.
