Quem ganha e quem perde? Um ensaio comparativo entre a Região Sul do Brasil e o Canadá sobre a dinâmica do emprego industrial

Abstract
A partir de uma análise comparativa entre a Região Sul do Brasil e a Província do Québec no Canadá, este artigo procurou identificar os espaços ganhadores e perdedores em termos de emprego industrial. Para tanto, o estudo adota parâmetros estatísticos, do Coeficiente de concentração de Gini, para discutir a dinâmica do emprego no espaço escolhido. Também se verificaram as tendências de ordenamento territorial em espaços com distintos estágios de crescimento e desenvolvimento econômico. Observou-se que a movimentação do emprego industrial, na Região Sul do Brasil, dissolveu a exclusividade das regiões metropolitanas na alocação do emprego, permitindo uma especialização maior do espaço na indústria de transformação e o surgimento de microrregiões industriais de médio porte. No Québec, verificou-se que o emprego industrial continua concentrado nas regiões onde foram observadas as primeiras incidências em relação às concentrações industriais.
