Abstract
Cet article analyse le traitement d’un film jamais réalisé de Pier Paolo Pasolini, Porno-Teo-Kolossal . Il se propose de montrer que les quatre mondes qu’y traversent les deux protagonistes peuvent être compris comme des variations sur la modalité de l’utopie, à savoir l’utopie, la dystopie, l’uchronie et l’atopie ; les trois premiers moments correspondent à la mise en récit de la conscience d’une Europe en voie d’homologation et en butte aux pouvoirs autoritaires et fascistes, alors que le quatrième moment correspond à ce que Pasolini entrevoyait comme une potentialité venue du Sud. Ce parcours doit être considéré comme étant « révolutionnaire », non pas au sens téléologique du terme, mais plutôt au sens du mot latin revolutio , qui signifie « retour à l’origine ». Cette lecture de Porno-Teo-Kolossal permettra de faire entendre une conception de l’engagement qui serait basée sur un infini plan-séquence irréductible à l’opération du montage-mort .
