Le Comité de Logement Rosemont regroupe des locataires et des militants dans un quartier de travailleurs au nord-est du centre-ville de Montréal. L’article présente les principales activités du comité, sa participation au Regroupement pour le Gel des Loyers qui est une coalition d’organisations populaires sur le logement menant une lutte commune contre les augmentations de loyer depuis 1978 ainsi que son mode d’organisation et de fonctionnement. De plus l’article vise à cerner les problèmes de mobilisation auxquels doivent faire face les militants en ce qui a trait plus particulièrement à la participation des locataires au comité. Finalement l’auteur propose quelques jalons qui devraient permettre aux militants du comité de poursuivre un bilan collectif.
