P759Post-hoc analysis of Confidence II, Protect I, Shake the habit I and Shake the habit II studies in mild to moderate hypertensive patients treated with perindopril and atorvastatin concomitantly
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Background/Introduction: The prevalence of concomitant hypertension and dyslipidemia, two major contributing risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD), has been reported to range between 15% and 30%. Previous studies have shown that co-existence of the two conditions has more than an additive adverse impact on the vascular endothelium, resulting in enhanced atherosclerosis and increased CVD risk. Purpose: Given that a fixed dose combination of atorvastatin/perindopril arginine has been developed for substitution therapy in adult hypertensive patients adequately controlled with concomitant atorvastatin and perindopril, the aim of this analysis was to estimate the frequency of co-administration atorvastatin with perindopril in mild-to-moderate hypertensive patients followed in routine care and to evaluate the real-life effectiveness and safety of perindopril when administered concomitantly with atorvastatin. Methods: Post-hoc analysis of 4 Canadian prospective, observational, multi-centre studies which assessed the real-life effectiveness and safety of perindopril in 51,821 mild-to-moderate hypertensive patients over 16 weeks. The Safety Set comprised all patients receiving combination atorvastatin+perindopril at least once at any time during follow-up; the Full Analysis Set (FAS) comprised all patients receiving atorvastatin+perindopril at baseline and had ≥1 post-baseline SBP measurement while on treatment.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
