Depuis 1945, les historiens de la Résistance française ont surtout cherché à déconstruire le phénomène résistant par la sélection d’échelles d’analyse qui mettent l’accent sur la singularité de leurs objets d’études. Or, un renouveau historiographique, dont la caractéristique fondamentale est l’élargissement des échelles d’analyse, permet d’étudier la Résistance dans sa globalité et rend possible une définition nouvelle de la Résistance française. Des pistes que ce changement de perspective permet d’explorer, le traitement des sujets internationaux dans l’ensemble de la presse clandestine révèle des dynamiques de développement communes à la majorité des courants résistants.
