Abstract
Notre recherche porte sur le parcours thérapeutique d’un enfant psychotique métis en hôpital de jour à l’aide de la méthode complémentariste. Nous analyserons comment les histoires de sorcière inventées par l’enfant ont permis de faire émerger à la conscience de la mère des étiologies traditionnelles antillaises : l’enfant ne serait-il pas un “ quimboiseur ” ? Ces théories ont opéré comme une véritable matrice de sens pour cette famille et ont permis aux secrets de famille de se dévoiler. Le processus thérapeutique transculturel leurs permet alors de réinvestir la culture antillaise, de s’inscrire dans la filiation en remontant aux temps de l’esclavage et des ancêtres et de redonner une place à cet enfant singulier.
