em sua maioria, 52,2% eram sedentrios, a maior parte dos indivduos com os tipos I e II da doena no apresentaram excesso de peso. Entre as outras complicaes analisadas, o p diabtico foi o mais incidente nos casos de DM1 com 5,7% (n= 4) e o acidente vascular cerebral o mais predominante entre os cadastros de DM tipo 2 com 4%. Concluses: O Diabetes Mellitus frequentemente encontrado na populao, o tipo 2 foi o mais predominante, com o risco de desenvolver diversas complicaes.
