Este artículo muestra cómo un destino turístico puede transformarse en un islote etnoturístico. Inspirándonos en el estudio de caso de los quebequenses en Florida, proponemos un modelo en el que exploramos el proceso desarrollado por el investigador americano Dallen Timothy, basado en tres fases : la adopción del destino, la transformación del destino en islote etnoturístico y el declive de este.
