Abstract
La gestion de classe constitue un immense defi pour les stagiaires en education physique et a la sante (EPS). L'experience de stage oriente leurs perceptions quant a leur capacite a realiser avec succes les tâches d'enseignement attendues et contribue ainsi a developper leur sentiment d'efficacite personnelle (SEP). Cet article decrit l'influence d'un stage court en enseignement de l'EPS sur le SEP a gerer la classe. L'etude menee aupres de 41 stagiaires d'un programme de formation initiale en EPS au Quebec rapporte des resultats mitiges. En effet, on denombre significativement plus de cas de non changement du SEP que de changements positifs et negatifs suite a un stage court. L’expertise percue dans les activites enseignees est associee positivement et significativement au SEP a gerer la classe. Il importe de mieux comprendre comment la duree du stage ainsi que les experiences de maitrise anterieures au stage influent sur le SEP des stagiaires.
