Abstract
Les Chemins inutiles de Saïd Oussad est une immersion dans le contexte tragique des années de terrorisme en Algérie. Écrit longtemps après la « décennie noire », ce roman pose la problématique de la frontière parfois poreuse entre le factuel et la fiction, entre l’écriture journalistique et l’écriture romanesque. Jouant de nombreuses analepses et prolepses, il invite à une réflexion sur le lien entre le passé et le présent ainsi que sur les traces de ces événements vécus dans l’isolement et la solitude. Sondant le trauma refoulé sur le plan du politique et du sensible, il questionne les mécanismes psychologiques de défense des individus en situation de terreur.
