Abstract
L’enseignement des langues officielles au Burundi et au Canada présente plusieurs caractéristiques intéressantes. Tout d’abord, il importe de souligner que les deux pays ont des politiques linguistiques différentes en matière d’enseignement des langues officielles. Tandis que le gouvernement canadien prône le bilinguisme officiel (français et anglais), celui du Burundi propose une éducation plurilingue, même si le pays est officiellement bilingue (français et kirundi).
