Les Staphylococcus aureus resistants a la methicilline (SARM) sont devenus un probleme de sante publique emergent dans le monde entier, n’etant plus associes uniquement a des infections nosocomiales. A l’exception de quelques publications recentes d’infections chez des chats, des chiens et des chevaux, les infections a SARM sont rarement decrites chez les animaux de compagnie. L’article suivant decrit les resultats d’infections a SARM chez des chevaux dans un hopital veterinaire universitaire d’Europe centrale.
