Abstract
Nina Mottern, BSN, RN, CCM, is a commissioner with the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), the first and largest nationally accredited organization that certifies case managers, and also the former chair of the CCMC Ethics and Professional Conduct Committee. With more than 30 years in health care, in a variety of settings in the federal government and private sectors, she is now a geriatric care manager.
