Con un extensisimo y nutrido curriculum vitae, Jorge Frascara es, entre otras muchas cosas, profesor del Departamento de Arte y Diseno de la Universidad de Alberta y Miembro de Honor de la Sociedad de Disenadores Graficos de Canada. Ha sido directivo de la Asociacion de Educacion en Diseno Grafico (USA), de la Sociedad de Disenadores Graficos de Canada, y es miembro de las comisiones de asesoria editorial de Design Issues, Graphic Design Jorunal, information Design Journal, Tipografica y Arcos.
