F]ODIBO) is synthesized in high radiochemical yield and applied for nearly quantitative conjugation to azide-tagged peptides and proteins at room temperature and low substrate concentrations. The resulting bioconjugates are chemically and radiochemically pure and free of toxic solvents and catalysts.
