Abstract
Dans un contexte professionnel et organisationnel en tension, notamment avec l'établissement de nouvelles normes de gouvernance de l'intervention sociale, le travail social connaît de profondes mutations. Les professions et les formations qui le structurent, se trouvent engagées dans des situations paradoxales entre prescription et autonomie. On relèvera par exemple, l'augmentation des exigences alors que les ressources diminuent ; l'injonction d'insérer des personnes précarisées dans un système économique générant lui-même de la précarisation. Dans le champ de la formation, les différents cursus et l'accent mis notamment sur le développement des compétences engendrent l'ajustement des programmes et l'adaptation des formateurs et des enseignants-chercheurs. Les contributions réunies dans Dynamiques du travail social en pays francophones permettent d'entrevoir les conditions de renouvellement des métiers du social et les régulations mises en œuvre dans chacun des cinq pays francophones convoqués (Belgique, France, Luxembourg, Québec, Suisse). En dépeignant des paysages contrastés et en soulevant des questions ouvertes issues d'expériences hétérogènes, l'ouvrage vise à alimenter la réflexion et les débats des praticiens, des étudiants, des professeurs-chercheurs et des usagers au sein du travail social.
