Abstract
Le problème de la violence apparaît d’emblée, dans la perspective de la déconstruction derridienne, comme un problème irréductible. C’est pourquoi, lorsque ses dimensions politiques deviennent plus explicites, au début des années 1990, le travail de Derrida en vient à donner une place significative au motif de la guerre. Les lectures successives de Marx et de Schmitt permettent alors de préciser le sens de l’articulation entre « polémique originaire » et violences sociales ou guerrières. En définitive, le combat pour la justice apparaît comme indissociable d’un déplacement des frontières traditionnellement établies entre guerres internationales et guerres civiles, ou entre guerres « extérieures » et guerres « intimes », obligeant à reconsidérer les limites du concept même de guerre pour l’appréhender l’évolution complexe des situations de conflit.
