Abstract
Hydrodynamic processes have been mathematically and physically modeled for the EVRAZ WestSiberian Metallurgical Complex' 4-strand bloom CCM's intermediate ladle. The physical model of the intermediate ladle was used to evaluate qualitatively the melt stirring operation. The metal impurities purification efficiency was quantitatively estimated for the intermediate ladle when using the refractory elements of various shapes. The recommendations were elaborated for the intermediate ladle's refractory partitions parameters. Ill. 9. Ref. 9.
