Abstract
Martin Heidegger a été marqué en profondeur par sa lecture des Écrits politiques de Fiodor Dostoïevski, qu’il a lus dans l’édition de Dmitri Sergejewitsch Merejkovski et d’Arthur Moeller van den Bruck, le principal inspirateur de la révolution conservatrice allemande. Il en a retenu sa conception du terroir (Heimat) et il en a tiré une conception raciale de la germanité et de la russité qui trouvera à s’exprimer positivement dans ses Cahiers noirs des années 1939-1941, contemporains du pacte germano-russe. On ne saurait en conclure pour autant que Heidegger serait en tous points favorable à la Russie. La succession des énoncés heideggériens sur la Russie montre en effet, avec toute l’ambivalence qui caractérise la vision du monde hitlérienne et nazie, que la Russie reste pour lui un adversaire dont il mesure la force, face au peuple allemand qu’il considère comme le seul peuple véritablement historique et métaphysique.
