Abstract
Mon projet final de maîtrise consiste à présenter la nature de mon projet final de maîtrise, la vidéo-action little indians à travers la web cam. Cette Vidéo-action est le résultat d'une série d'expérimentations liées à ma situation d'immigrante au Canada. Cette recherche porte sur ma pratique artistique du point de vue des cultures périphériques, en utilisant les nouvelles technologies comme tactique transculturelle d'appropriation dans un cotexte de globalisation. Au moyen de la téléprésence sur l’internet, je tente d'explorer les notions d'identité, de permanence, d'immatérialité du corps, des espaces réels et virtuels. La téléprésence me permet de créer des espaces d'intersubjectivité, qui contribuent à la reconstruction d'une nouvelle condition identitaire à partir d'un processus transculturel. L’intégration des nouvelles technologies à ma pratique performative m'a ouvert des nouvelles possibilités de concevoir et de créer des espaces qui se trouvent «entre» les frontières qui séparent mes différents mondes, le Mexique et le Canada, le réel et le virtuel, le passé et le présent, le traditionnel et le contemporain.
