Abstract
Entre site et site, cet article examine la réciprocité s'établissant entre le web et le domaine public urbain, considérés comme espace(s) public(s). L’œuvre Performances invisibles de l’artiste montréalais Steve Giasson, une série d’actions furtives réalisée dans la ville et documentée par des images apparaissant et circulant dans le web, est analysée suivant cette perspective. Le dispositif créé par l’artiste s'avère être à la fois critique, ludique et créateur de communautés, démontrant l’actualité et l’importance des interactions entre divers acteurs, à la jonction de lieux urbains et d’un environnement sociotechnique activés en résonance et en prolongement l’un de l’autre.
