Abstract
En 2015 était rendu public l’ Examen externe sur l’inconduite sexuelle et le harcèlement sexuel dans les Forces armées canadiennes de Marie Deschamps. Après la publication du rapport Deschamps, les autorités militaires ont finalement admis qu’il existait une culture sexualisée menant au harcèlement et aux agressions sexuelles et qu’un changement culturel à long terme s’imposait. Les Forces armées canadiennes ont choisi une approche opérationnelle (l’opération honour ) pour résoudre le problème de la violence sexuelle. Désormais, c’est une plateforme de « force par la diversité » qui est mise en avant pour traiter les dynamiques du genre au sein de l’organisation. Cet article examine la façon dont l’approche militaire actuelle relativement aux questions de genre se compare aux approches précédentes.
