Abstract
Resume La communication touchant la sante publique peut etre envisagee dans les entreprises de presse selon un processus decisionnel ou s’etablit une dynamique d’interinfluence menant a la definition des contenus d’information. En tentant de comprendre comment s’effectue le cheminement decisionnel vers l’elaboration du traitement mediatique des thematiques liees a la sante, la recherche presentee dans cet article met a jour certains jeux de negociation en fonction des motivations qui animent les professionnels des medias qui ont a prendre la decision de traiter ou de rejeter certains sujets lies a la sante. Les resultats de cette recherche contribuent a documenter les points nodaux dans la structure mediatique ou s’effectuent les prises de decision, selon un modele de structure matricielle multipaliers prenant en compte la charge socio-politique du sujet a traiter et l’identite de la source. Ainsi, dans les medias quebecois, les professionnels des medias developpent des relations de travail qui illustrent une certaine porosite entre pouvoir de recommandation et pouvoir de decision finale.
