Fugidio e complexo, o campo discursivo do jornalismo escapa tradicionalmente às tentativas de definir seus limites e especificidade. Poderia, no entanto, ser caracterizado como uma maneira particular de conhecer e apresentar o mundo tal e qual a percepção comum e a epistemologia das formas legitimadas (científica, jurídica etc.) da produção do conhecimento? Nessa perspectiva, este artigo examina a gênese das normas processuais do jornalismo francófono e suas evoluções contemporâneas antes de compará-las a dos aparelhos de produção de conhecimento mais formais.
