Cet article décrit brièvement les transformations récentes du réseau de la santé et des services sociaux québécois en mettant l’accent sur l’imposition des principes de la NGP – nouvelle gestion publique – ainsi que sur les impacts de la profession du travail social et ses acteurs, exigeant une pratique réflexive et prudentielle. L’article est divisé en 2 parties, la première décrit les changements, la seconde explique l’impact sur les travailleurs sociaux et de manière plus large sur le travail social.
