Abstract
À Québec les interventions des premiers comités de citoyens se situent à la fin des années 60 dans un contexte de re-développement urbain. Après avoir présenté d’une façon synthétique l’ensemble des organisations intervenant sur les enjeux urbains dans la ville de Québec, les auteurs font porter leur analyse sur deux exemples de lutte en faisant ressortir les différences tant au plan des enjeux qu’au plan de la composition de classe de la base sociale. Qu’est-ce qui fait que l’on débouche sur une victoire plutôt que sur une défaite ? Quelques hypothèses explicatives sont énoncées. Enfin les auteurs considèrent les perspectives de lutte sur les conditions de vie.
