Abstract
黒酵母Aureobasidium pullulans1A1株が，β-グルカンの中でも免疫賦活活性の特に高いβ-1,3-1,6-グルカンを分泌産生することに注目し，高純度で低粘度な可溶化β-1,3-1,6-グルカン食品素材『アクアβ^ 』を開発した。次いで，『アクアβ^ 』が腸管免疫に対する免疫賦活調節効果を有することを確認した。具体的には，抗腫瘍活性ならびに抗癌転移活性を有すること，食物アレルギー改善効果を有すること，便秘改善効果を有すること，抗ストレス効果を有すること，腸管粘膜の保護作用や食後血糖の低減効果を有することを明らかにした。さらに，最近では胃潰瘍の低減効果を確認するとともにヒートショックプロテイン70(HSP70)の誘導効果を見出した。
