Abstract
Wigrum de Daniel Canty présente une facture graphique inédite qui participe au monde littéraire que l’auteur développe. Une nouvelle typographie créée pour le livre ainsi que les nombreux différents types de mise en page (listes, récits, index, pages titres, intertitres, notes explicatives, dessins, etc.) créent des effets d’hybridité visuelle et exposent les opérations à l’œuvre dans la construction du récit et du livre. Cet article examine les façons dont les effets graphiques du roman deviennent des effets littéraires. Il s’agit précisément de cerner la manière dont le graphisme contribue aux métadiscours sur des principes de création littéraire.
