Abstract
Tüm Türk boylarında olduğu gibi Kırgızlarda da kadının önemi büyüktür. Onlar tarihin her döneminde evde sevgili eş ve merhametli anne olmanın yanı sıra kocalarının sağ kolu, yardımcısı ve danışmanı olmuşlardır. Tarihin her sahnesinde Kırgızlar arasında adını dünyaya duyuran kahraman kadınlar çıkmıştır. Onlar akıllılığı, uyanıklığı ve cesareti ile halkı yönetmiş ve düşmanlardan korumuşlardır. Durum böyle olunca Kırgızlarda çok eskiden beri kız evlatlarına önem verilmiş ve özel davranılmıştır. Dolayısıyla halkın ortak ürünü olan destanlarda, efsanelerde, türkülerde, atasözlerinde, kısacası tüm halk ürünlerinde kadına yer verilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Kırgız kadınının toplumdaki yeri, önemi ve atasözlerine yansımasından bahsedilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Kırgız Atasözleri, Kırgızlar, Kadın, Kırgız kültürü. Abstract Woman has a significant position for Kyrgyz people just like in all Turkic tribes. Women have been the girlfriend, wife and merciful mom at home throughout the history as well as husbands’ right hand, main supporter and advisor. Looking at the times starting from ancient period till today, there appeared internationally heroic women in Kyrgyz societies. They managed the public and protected them from the enemies with their intelligence, smartness and mercy. The most important of all; they came forward as coy girls at home, dear wives and merciful moms. Although boys have been more important for a long time in Kyrgyz societies, the place of daughters at home have also been significant. Women who have special place in every part of life commonly appear in epics and other works of folk culture. Thus, they have become the main topic of every field. The analysis of Kyrgyz proverbs about women is sociologically important because the findings in Kyrgyz proverbs help us to understand and know Kyrgyz women.
