Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract Hollow materials with different configurations are of interest due to their unique structural features, which induce interesting properties e.g. catalysis. Here, the synthesis of asymmetrical hollow ball‐in‐tube (HBT) structured CeO 2 is reported, which is achieved using a dual template engaged solid–liquid interfacial reaction. In this reaction, the SiO 2 sphere (hard template)‐embedded Ce(OH)CO 3 nanorod (sacrificial template) composite is first treated with NaOH solution, followed by an acid wash to obtain asymmetrical hollow structured CeO 2 . Such HBT structured CeO 2 is demonstrated to be a good support for Au nanoparticles toward CO oxidation as compared to simple hollow CeO 2 nanotubes, leading to significantly increase catalytic activity.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
