Pour favoriser l’innovation, les entreprises doivent pouvoir accéder aux connaissances externes de leurs clients et les assimiler et les combiner à leurs connaissances internes. Nous nous appuyons sur la recherche sur l’ambidextrie organisationnelle pour évaluer l’impact combiné de l’intégration interne et celle de la clientèle sur la capacité d’innovation de l’entreprise. Nous explorons si les entreprises pourraient renforcer leur capacité d’innovation en renforçant leur intégration avec les clients et en améliorant simultanément l’intégration interne. En utilisant les données d’une enquête internationale auprès de 835 fabricants dans 20 pays, le potentiel d’amélioration des performances des efforts combinés sur l’intégration client et interne a été testé.
