Abstract
Ce travail avait pour but d’etudier la demande en chlore et de suivre la formation des sous-produits de desinfection (SPD) suivant differentes filieres de traitement des eaux polluees par la matiere organique, naturelle ou bien anthropique, susceptible d’etre presente dans les eaux de surface. L’objectif de cette etude est la determination et le suivi des sous-produits de desinfection halogenes des eaux naturelles destinees a l’alimentation humaine. Les resultats ont montre une forte liaison entre la demande chimique en oxygene (DCO), le carbone organique total (COT), la teneur en trihalomethanes (THM) et les composes organohalogenes (COX) formes apres chloration. Aussi, les resultats ont montre que la coagulation avant chloration joue un role important dans la diminution des sous-produits de desinfection (SPD). Les differents essais du present travail ont ete realises, dans le cadre d’un stage, au sein des Laboratoires de l’institut national de la recherche scientifique, Eau Terre et Environnement(INRS-ETE) Quebec, Canada.
