Abstract
Inspiré par plusieurs terrains au Québec, en Haïti et en Afrique, cet article propose une critique politique et éthique de l’épistémologie positiviste qui domine le régime contemporain de production des savoirs. Je montre que cette épistémologie porte en elle une injonction puissante de séparation entre l’esprit et le corps, les sentiments et la pensée, l’engagement et la connaissance, ainsi que la science et la société, qui peut être vécue comme une violence et un appel à l’indifférence à autrui. J’y oppose une épistémologie du lien qui tente de préserver et de rendre visibles, dans un texte de sciences sociales, tous les liens humains qui rendent possible la création d’un savoir. L’article en lui-même est une expérience d’écriture au sein de cette épistémologie, nourrie par ma rencontre avec les épistémologies des Suds et mon aspiration à la justice cognitive.
