Abstract
En la actualidad en el Paraguay los menonitas se han convertido en uno de los grupos mas importantes a nivel nacional, posen un monopolio en la industria lactea y ganadera que le ha hecho tener mucha influencia a nivel nacional. En el articulo tratare de dar una vision de como fueron los primeros anos de colonizacion, las dificultades en las que se encontraron los colonos y los motivos que llevaron a los menonitas a emprender un viaje desde el Canada hasta el conocido como infierno verde. Solo entendiendo como se organizan las colonias y entendiendo sus creencias podremos entender las motivaciones de su llegada al Paraguay. En la segunda parte del articulo tratare sobre como se llevo a cabo en los primeros anos la evangelizacion de las comunidades indigenas y las criticas que surgen de ella.
