the Case Western Reserve Journal of International Law held a public symposium on the response mechanisms to threats of bioterrorism in the United States and Canada.Participants in this simulation, who included local, state, federal, and international officials, were asked to "role-play" their response to a hypothetical agricultural-based attack.This portion of the discussion focuses on the role of the media in the early days of a bioterrorist threat.The speakers' remarks have been edited for length.
