Inscrit en didactique de l’écriture et dans le champ des littéracies, cet article présente une lecture croisée de deux expérimentations d’enseignement-apprentissage de l’écriture visant deux publics francophones fortement contrastés: en Belgique, des scripteurs infrascolarisés en réinsertion socioprofessionnelle et, en France, des étudiants de master. Les deux dispositifs sont sous-tendus par un ancrage dans une vision de l’écriture comme processus, une référence centrale à la notion de rapport à l’écriture et une mobilisation d’outils empruntés à la génétique textuelle. Centrée sur le rapport à l’écriture, cette contribution montre que la notion de rapport à l’écriture est à la fois euristique et opératoire pour concevoir, mettre en oeuvre et évaluer des dispositifs visant le développement de la compétence scripturale de scripteurs aux profils très différents.
