Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Variable frequency drive (VFD) is known to produce interharmonics (IH). These IH components can be difficult to mitigate even though their magnitudes are general small. These problems are often caused by the parallel resonance between the drive filter and the supply system. In this paper, we present a novel filtering scheme that can avoid the interharmonic resonance on one hand and that can filter the characteristic harmonics on the other, thus leading to an effective solution to mitigate VFD-produced interharmonics. Two real-life cases have been used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the scheme. The first case involves the voltage flicker caused by VFD-produced interharmonics. The second case involves a VFD related interference problem in a powerline communication (PLC).

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
