Des documents d’orientation aux activités pratiques : la conception d’un manuel public par des enseignants de FLE

Abstract
L'état du Paraná, au Brésil, a publié en 2008 les nouvelles orientations au programme de l'enseignement des langues de l'état (DCE). Selon ce document officiel, le point de départ pour l’enseignement des langues doit être le texte et l'enseignant doit travailler en classe avec plusieurs genres textuels dans toutes leurs dimensions (la fonction, la composition, l'information, l'intertextualité, la cohésion, la cohérence et les aspects grammaticaux) (DCE 63). Un projet de conception de manuels publics qui répondent aux DCE a ainsi commencé à être mis en place dans l’état. Pour le manuel de français, le projet a débuté par la formation des enseignants basée sur les études des genres textuels développées par Bronckart, Schneuwly & Dolz, Machado et Lousada, entre autres. Par la suite, un groupe d’enseignants-élaborateurs a été constitué pour la conception du manuel, sous la supervision d’un professeur formateur. Cet article a pour objectif de présenter l’adaptation et la reconception des orientations officielles par le groupe de conception et de montrer comment les apports théoriques sur l’enseignement des genres textuels et le développement des séquences didactiques se traduisent matériellement dans le manuel de FLE. Nous illustrerons ceci par des exemples d’unités du manuel qui ont été composées à partir de plusieurs séquences d’activités organisées autour d’un agir social et abordant deux ou trois genres textuels complémentaires au genre principal de l’unité didactique.
