H(istoires) U(niverselles) 15 : un portail numérique pour textes en mal d’édition

Abstract
Cet article présente le portail numérique H(istoires) U(niverselles) 15, développé dans le cadre d’une subvention « Développement Savoir » du CRSH (Canada), qui a pour objectif de faciliter l’accès au texte de quelques histoires universelles du xve siècle ainsi que d’approfondir les connaissances sur ces textes encore inédits. Dans un parcours du théorique au pratique, cet article part d’une réflexion médiatique sur la nature de l’édition de texte, en particulier autour de la notion de remediation, développée par Jay D. Bolter et Richard Grusin. Il explore ensuite comment cette réflexion sur le médium et le choix du numérique ont orienté les décisions éditoriales, et contribué à définir la structure d’un projet voulu comme un cadre d’expérimentation pour réfléchir aux possibilités de l’édition numérique.
