Abstract
Cet article discute des modalites du programme de formation de l’ecole quebecoise et les strategies educatives utilisees aupres d’eleves du secondaire ayant un trouble du spectre de l’autisme (TSA) et frequentant une classe specialisee en ecole ordinaire. L’article presente les resultats d’une etude a laquelle quinze enseignantes en adaptation scolaire ont participe. D’abord, les donnees revelent que les classes, bien que se voulant homogenes, apparaissent plutot heterogenes. Les enseignantes interrogees suivent le parcours de formation generale et font appel a une diversite de strategies educatives pour repondre aux differents besoins des eleves; le soutien de la technicienne en education specialisee devient alors essentiel a l’adaptation de leur enseignement. Enfin, peu de ressources sont disponibles pour encadrer le travail des enseignantes quant au choix de strategies educatives efficaces.
