En contexte de stage en enseignement, l’évaluation vise avant tout le développement professionnel du futur enseignant (Gervais et Correa Molina, 2004). Dans une logique de formation, l’étudiant analyse sa pratique et cherche à expliciter ce qu’il a appris (Perrenoud, 1998); il peut par ailleurs viser la performance ou la simple réussite (Maunier, 2015). Pour comprendre la logique du stagiaire dans son rapport à l’évaluation, une recherche qualitative interprétative a été réalisée. Les résultats mettent en évidence que les stagiaires manifestent un souci d’apprendre, de progresser et de développer les compétences professionnelles. Les modalités d’évaluation peuvent expliquer ce résultat.
