This thesis attempts to analyze a selection of collective and collaborative creations in English Canadian theatre from as early as the 1930's to as recent as 2003.The primary goal of this research has been to identify the artists' process in a collective environment, and their artistic response to the material they have chosen to work on.This thesis also contains the pre-production and production journals, audience suggestion forms, and the workshop script of Camp X-ray, a collaborative creation/
