Abstract
The management of a PPP requires technical skills in the specific area dealt with. However, the survey of 77 PPPs underway across Canada shows that the most important key to a project’s success is “partnership capacity”. This is dependent upon trust, communication and co-ordination between partners and rooted in their ability to build relationships and interpersonal skills.
